    Hi Rashmi,

You can use it make lots of Gobi manchurian (or any manchurian type).... It will be the best way to consume the Corn Flour.

You can try to make "Then Khuzhal". Insead of Rice Flour, use Corn Flour.

Any thing you make please try in small quanitity first. ok?

    Dear Krishamma,

I am looking at your receipes, really all of them sounds Yummy :)

I got a doubt,When i saw the receipe for the Instant Idly Mix in ur forum.,,,,,, should we mix the boiled rice ((i.e .. the cooked rice) , raw rice & urad dal altogether to make the powder aha?

Really i tried so many times to make idly, but doesnt come soft becoz of the weather, the dough wont grow and the idly was so hard to eat.

If u can help me,it will great for me.

    Thanks in advance.

    Rgds,
    suba.

    Instant Idly Mix.
    <HR style="COLOR: #ffffff" SIZE=1>
Wash and drain 2 cups of boiled rice, 2 cups of raw rice and 2 cups Udad dal.

Make the dried rice and dal into cores powder and keep it in the fridge.

When ever you want to prepare, remove the processed powder from the fridge and put 1 spoon of baking powder and salt.

Add hot water and mix well

Keep aside for 12 hours and make Idly .

    Hi Suba,

It is actually 'Parboiled Rice' in Tamil we say, புழுங்கல் அரிசி
    Now ok aa?

And go through the thread. 'To make good idly ([IMG] 1 2 3) ' in Miscellaneous Forum.

I think this will help you. Or otherwise ask me , we are here to help.:-D
