Color combination for grape color

I think silver or golden colours would be best combination.

 

i suggest purple or indigo

 

cram colour, light yellow, sky blue, white colours will go. if you are doing chemanthy work emb yellow is best.

 

I agree with 1st poster..Silver or gold. It will stand out.In fact I have seen this exact combination work done by someone.Looked good.

usually light colours will suit on dark so try that.

If you want it to be a praty wear, opt for heavy embroidery like the one you suggested with a little more jazz (gold/silver threads). If you want it to wear for small get togethers, opt for simpler designs.
