Cleaning baffle filters of kitchen electric chimney

    Hi All,:)

    These days most of our kitchens are equipped with an electric chimney.
    I need some tips on cleaning on the Baffle filters.
    After immersing the filters in hot water I have tried Ciff +toothbrushes, but not very succeessful.
    Are there any special brushes meant for the same?
    Do share your solutions for this difficult act!!!!:spin

    hi Sindhu,

    I also have baffle filtered electric chimney. There is one good tip which I always use . I remove the mesh from the chimney and immerse in hot water in which i put some caustic soda. just keep it only for 2-3 minutes and remove it. Please be careful and donot touch with hand at all. Put gloves and use . All dirt and oil will be removed easily. You will get caustic soda anywhere in grocery stores.May this tip helps you.

    Hi,
    In myt previuos house there was baffle filter chimney I suggest you use Mr Muscle liquid pour generously n scrub the result will be amazin it comes sparkling try it

    Ciff I found to be useless waste of money
