    7?!? Wow, this would scare me. For middle schoolers and high schoolers, I would definitely consider it. Growing up, a friend of mine traveled to India frequently by herself at 14-15. I think it helped her gain confidence and independence sooner that sheltered little me. I didn't travel international alone until college

    hey! I think it depends on your son's age. and then whether he is responsible enough or not. Personally, I have never sent my child alone. My eldest triplets are 13. this summer they were also insisting to go to their cousins in London. I mean just the three. But my husband and I didn't agree with that. although one of them is very sensible. Better than the other two. still, we were not satisfied with that. So, I sent my sister with them. they were not happy with that. but it was the right decision as I think they are very young for that.
