    Re: Chicken dum biriyani please

    Hi all,

I need to buy the aluminium vesels (which many ladies talked about in this thread) specially for making biryanis ( Hyderabadi , Dum etc..) .

I live in Hyderabad , can anyone suggest me a place here in Hyderabad where i can get them ?

Also if possible can anyone post the pics of these special vessels which are especially used to make biryanis.

    Dear SD..

For 6 persons here i had mentioned 2 glasses that is sufficient for 2-3 persons... you can actually double the measurement , since its with mutton mutton marinate and keep ateast 2-3 hrs and cook it separately in a pressure cooker till the mutton is done by adding just 1 glass of water ( after the pressure is released let it open and make it little dry )

follow the other procedure as such when you come to this stage

add the cooked mutton and follow the remaining procedure.... any doubts let me know...

    Vahee,
The recipe came out extremely well. Thanks a lot.Yes,the ghee does he trick.it makes the rice silky and shiney.i did not have time to marinate, yet the taste was very good.
