Cooking time – 15 mins No. of portions – 4 Ingredients: Lettuce Leaves – 4 nos Tomato Sauce – 4 teaspoon Potato (boiled and mashed) – 4 medium sized Onion (chopped) – 2 medium sized Cheese cubes (grated) – 2 nos Cheese slices – 4 nos Red chilli powder – ½ teaspoon Chaat masala – 1 teaspoon Salt to taste Brinjal (cooked and mashed) 1 medium sized Oil – 2 tablespoon (+ oil for deep frying) Egg – 1 no. Vermicelli (crushed) – 2 tablespoon Bread slices – 8 nos. Method: Heat oil, add the onions and stir till golden brown. Add the rest of the ingredients (i.e.) the potatoes, grated cheese, chilli powder, chaat masala, brinjal and mix well. Add salt as per taste. Make small pattice rounds and dip them in egg. Coat it with vermicelli and deep fry till golden brown colour. Serve the patties sandwiched between the bread slices on the lettuce and tomato sauce.
