A simple Googling on 'olive complexion' would have helped to clear your confusion. Btw olive color is not light green but a color by itself - I'd describe it as muddy green.

I am sorry, pardon my ignorance. Thanks for your wonderful suggestion about google search. I haven't thought about it!!! I have now researched about it...basically it's a natural tan??

Olive skinned is usually a tan with yellow tones to it...not blue or pink tones. Generally applied to Mediterranean type skin.

I am the only one who seems to have experienced something entirely the opposite so far..I'm fair by Desi standards while my husband is olive complexioned.
My DD was born really red and dark (2 shades darker than my husband). Her ears were quite dark as well.
Now that she's 3 months old, she's almost as fair as me.
Not that it matters much, but it's quite nice to see a baby take after you as she grows up
