    hi ladies,

I'm pregnant of 4weeks, 4days(based on LMP).. Yesterday my doc did scan and told me that she can see two eggs got ruptured from one ovary.. I have pcos but i didn't take any medicines other than metformin.. She asked me, is there any history of twins in your family..i said no.. Then she said, probably that 2nd one is cyst..anyways will come to know by nxt weeks scan.. I just wanted to know, will thr be any chance of twins??
Just curious to know this..i'm happy with either singleton or twins..its a god's gift..

    Twins can happen normally too.
That's why doctors ask about twinning history in maternal side.
Twins is not confirmed if 2 eggs r released. It's only confirmed on ultrasound , when 2 gestational sacs are seen.
U may have to wait till 5-6 weeks to know whether it's singleton or twins.
    All the best !

Not all ruptured follicles turn into viable gestational sacs. Don't worry. Its too early to see things clearly by 4+ weeks. Hold on for another week or more. All confusions will get answered by then.
Eat good and rest well in the pregnancy journey!
    Take care.
