Chances of getting Pregnant

2 Queries :

Is there any chance to get pregnant if the 'C' is intact ?

Can ovulation last for more than 7 days ?

-- I do not want to get pregnant now . So confused reading this ovulation cycles .

Hi,

1. If the C is intact, you have no chance of getting pregnant. Do check for leaks though.
2. Egg that has been released by ovary need to be fertilised within 24 hours. Get an ovulation predictor as we may not ovulate on the 14th day itself. It varies for each women.

Sometimes miracles do happen. Unexpected pregnancies are one of them. You can't solely depend on O-kits and stuff. But use some protection, ensure safety like leaks, breakages, expiry dates and proper handling when using condoms. I had once encountered a condom breakage-leak thus I had to go for the emergency morning after pill the next day.
