Can I get an MS through distance education program?

Hi ,

I am B Tech and was working for 2 years. I had break of 4 years after that. Now that i have a 2 year old at home and am loosing touch with technology. I want to keep myself updated and thought of taking MS through any distance education program so that i can study from home or attend any classes on weekends.

What all are the options for for me? Please help. I am now in trivandrum, kerala.

BITS offers distance education programmes for working professionals. Companies like Cognizant have a MOM with BITS and the course is called ' Work Integrated Learning Programme'. I am not sure if this course is available for non-working professionals also... Just check in BITS site...

I am not interested in MBA. So thought of MS

Why dont you do some certifications? It can update you in your technical areas..

I did CCNA and onefor the papers for CCNP(Route). The next certification seems a bit hard to understand and its pending.
Going for classes it not possible now since i have to take care of my kid.
