I have small baby at home. I usually try to wait till he's asleep at night then take my bath. But this time I fell asleep with the baby and couldn't do head bath On 4/5 day . I did take head bath on 6th day. First day also it was like in the night so I don't know if it was Sunday or Monday. I need to perform this pooja without fail. Luckily dates also match so I don't have to worry about periods. PLEASE ARE THERE ANY REMEDIES. I NEED TO PEEFORM THIS POOJA. ITS NOT POOJA IT IS IN FACT HOMAM with fire.

It depends on you, it does not really matter. We perform homa or puja with bhakti, if there is bhakti in your heart it is fine. Remember the story of Shri Rama and Shabari. Regards

I am kind of a perfectionist. I have guilty feeling if something is not right. But is there any remedy I can do now like take head bath again ? I feel feel guilty this pooja is very very expensive and I will feel it's a waste but it has to be done now

I am not religious so I wouldn't know . But my rule about most things is that if I don't feel comfortable or have second thoughts I try not to do it. can you not postpone the pooja to next month ?

It is up to you, you can do what you feel like.

Purity of of mind/body are the basics in performing the pooja. Pooja / rituals are to receive the positive vibe from the temple/deity.

Personally, I will not do it. There is no work around or remedy?

Any time is the right time to pray to God. Any day is an auspicious day.

As long as you have had head bath after your periods , it is fine. Usually we take head bath on the 4th/5th day to indicate the end of periods. If for any reason you havent , then you can do on anyday after that. Once you have then you are good to go.

So with a clean heart you can do the hoomam.
