I love the Chennai style idlis made with Idli rice. I feel they are way softer then the ones made with idli ravva.. But my husband does not like the taste of those idlis.. he prefers the ones that most Andhraites make with idli ravva... So I was wondering.. if it would be possible to add both Idli ravva and Rice while making idlis? If so.. what would be the idle proportion? How about this one? 1 cup urad dal 1 cup idli ravva 0.5 cup rice Another question, will adding more urad dal result in softer idlis? Thanks, SimpleGirl
