Can H4 Indian Wives work from Home?

    Hi New Friends.
    I found this forum when I did a google search on h4 wives. I am not a h4 wife, but I am trying to learn more about the life of an h4 wife because I want to start a service to help h4 wives adjust and be comfortable in US.
    Anyhow as I read through this set of posts, many have suggested things like babysitting or catering. I have known h4 wives and for that matter American citizens who do this- but beware as all states have licensing around this and if while babysitting a kid is hurt in anyway or food you make makes someone sick you can be sued! Of course if you cater only to Indians you may not face a problem, but you never really know what can happen.
    I really wish there was more h4 wives could do. America is really loosing out on all the talent, brilliance and personality that can be added in society by limiting your freedoms!!

    Hi Friends,

    After 6 months of searching for work from Home.
    I found some options like elance work from home jobs,freelance,rentacoder
    And some low profile ones like paid online surveys,paid mails.
    Can Somebody tell me Is it Ok/legal to such work at home and get paid??

    If you read my previous post on this thread, you'll see that I explain there it is not legal to work from home on an H4 visa.

    Hi friends,

    I am desperately looking for a work from home program that is truly genuine and not sort of hogus-bogus/fraudulant in nature. This is mainly due to two reasons. As I live in Canada, due to the chilly climate almost the year round, I am unable to seek a job outside due to my severe leg pain. If anyone can help me in this matter, I shall remain extremely grateful. Hope to listen from you ladies soon.
