Can anyone help with adoption in Bangalore??

Hello ILians,

My sister has registered herself with an adoption agency in Bangalore for adopting a child.(She unfortunately cannot conceive because of some complications

Its been almost over a year and nothing seems to be happening . She is very upset and depressed and breaks into tears.. i feel very sad for her and feel terrible that i am unable to help her in any way.

Would anyone be able to help me with tips on if not Bangalore where else could she go for a faster adoption process?

She is registered in Vathsalya Bangalore.

Would appreciate any support or advice on the same.

Hi ArtsSorts,

First don't be disappionted...

Generally the adoption process will take 1 to 1.5 years. Ask your sister to communicate with the agency frequently and let her know where she stands in the waiting list.
Even if you register in new agency you have to start from the first [ ie., the waiting period once again starts from there]
you try to find the adoptive parents, who adopted from the agency and know their experience, ofcourse each experience varies but you can have the general idea about the agency.
Try to attend all the meetings, pre-adoptive counselling in the agency.
You can also check CARA authorised agency in Bangalore for adoption.

Don't worry, Every thing will be in place soon.

Ask your sister not to get depressed. Adoption process is very fast in Odisha. I will provide you the name and phone number of one agency. Adopting a child is equal to serving god. I am so happy for your sister.

Hi Justborn,

Thanks for replying back. I really appreciate all the support and guidance i am getting from this forum.

My sister is already registered with an agency and is done with most of the formalities. Its just the wait is killing her.. she has friends who have registered later than her in other cities and have already got their baby

Hence i wanted to check if someone can help out within Bangalore.

This agency is CARA authorised.
