Can A Maharashtrian Kasta Sari Be Worn As A Ombodu Gajam?

    So I am going to be in Pune next week and would like to buy a nauvari/kasta sari for my mum for her to drape as a nine yard in tam iyer style/ ombodu gajam on special occasions.

    1. would this be a good idea and can a nauvari sari really be worn as a ombodu gajam - I am speaking about the fabric & comfort. I love the designs, I would like mum to be comfy as well.

    2. any suggestions on where I can pick one in Pune?
