According to my chiropractor the best form of calcium is calcium lactate. That is what I take.

Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D is what I take. I believe the three of them are needed in their metabolism, something about calcium channels being opened by magnesium ions. The recommended ratio is 2:1 for calcium:mg. Agree with Pooja, I have Trader Joe's - have to order them because no manufacturer in India makes it in that ratio.

    Need more info here.
I have never taken any supplements all my life (except from the time I got pregnant until a month back ...DD is 11 mo and I am feedng her).
Is this a general recommendation? What dosage?

Oflate, I have severe leg aches and I am very tired ....so thought of some supplements. Should I go to a doc and check up first?

Ramya, not necessary. I needed it because I went off milk and milk products for my child's allergies.
