EgglessBanana Lemon cake hi, i want to share one recipe which i tried just now and tastes great. Banana lemon cake--eggless · 2 cups white self-raising flour 1/2 teaspoon bicarb. · 1 pinch salt · 3/4 cup sugar · 3/4 cup butter · 1/2 cup milk · 2 medium bananas · 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice · 3 drops lemon essence Preheat the oven at 180 Cream together the butter and the sugar until light and fluffy. Beat thoroughly, stir in the lemon essence and mashed bananas until blended. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Mix milk with lemon juice to sour the milk, then stir both into the creamed mixture until combined. Grease and line the sandwich tins. Divide the mixture evenly between the three tins. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until light brown. Turn on to wire racks to cool. padma

Pineapple And Lemon Cheesecake PINEAPPLE AND LEMON CHEESECAKE Ingredients : 125gms sweet plain biscuits 60gms butter 250gms cheese 2 eggs 1 teaspoon lemon rind 2 tablespoon lemon juice 1/3-cup sugar 450gms-crushed pineapple 2 teaspoons gelatin 2 tablespoons water Method : Melt butter in a bowl and then add in crushed biscuits, pour mixture in a greased cake tin, cook on until set, cool it. Beat cheese until smooth; add in, lemon rind, lemon juice, beat in eggs and sugar. Reserve pineapple juice and add pineapple to cheese mixture, mix well. Cook until set. Sprinkle gelatine over water and cook till it dissolves then add reserved pineapple juice, cool until it is set. Spread it over the cake, refrigerate until it is set completely. Decorate it with cream and pineapple pieces.

The cookies can be given various shapes but comes out a little soft, yet crunchy. This recipe gives you 70-100 sticks. Ingredients: 200 g butter 200 g sugar 1 yolk 2 tea spoon vanilla powder 4 tea spoon cinnamon powder 1 tea spoon bicarbonate, soda 1 (big) table spoon molasses/sugar syrup Topping: 1 remaining egg white chopped almonds Whip the soft room tempered butter and sugar. Add the yolk and mix well. Warm the syrup till it melts to liquid. Now add rest of the ingridents in a different bowl and add mix it all together little by little. (the purpose is to mix all the dry ingredients well). Now knead the dough with your hands. The dough is a little sticky but should be even and smooth. Pre heat the oven to 225C. Divide the dough into 8 portions. Roll the portions as long as the length of the baking tray. Now put for of the rolls on the baking tray, squeeze the rolls a little flat to give them shape and paint over with the egg white. Sprinkle with chopped almonds. It takes about 8-10 mins in the oven. cut the cakes into desired length and shape before they get cold as they would break after wards.

On ungreased baking sheets, shape each portion into a 12-in. x 2-in. log. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes o until firm to the touch. Cool for 15 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board; carefully cut diagonally with a serrated knife into 1/2-in. slices. Place cut side down on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until firm. Remove to wire racks to cool.
