HDB or CONDO???

Hi All,
After living here in singapore for so long, finally we decided to buy a new house.. me and my hubby discussed a lot and also with friends.. some ppl advice us to buy condo instead of HDB. will this be wise? given the current situation we have to fork out a good sum of money as COV itself.. so one of my friend advised me to by a condo, that way we dont have to pay COV and standard of living will also be good..

My question is, is condo life really better than HDB as with kids?
Pls give me ur thoughts..
