    Hi folks,

Am trying to find whole ragi or red millet in us, and would appreciate some suggestions. Local patel's doesnt carry it, only has flour. Amazon has an option, vedica organics, but the reviews are so bad. Please let me know if you have bought this before. Thanks!

I brought millet/ragi flour from India two or three times(bought whole millet, washed, dried and powdered while in India). Later I bought ragi flour (swad/lakshmi brand dont remember now) from Indian store. I used it as a babyfood for a while. I think it is Ok. My friends also used Ragi flour from here. I don't know anything about Amazon brand.

Yes. My friends also used it as baby food. I used the flour bought from US stores only when I didn't have the flour I brought from India.

I used a strainer/sifter to remove any elements of bran before cooking millet flour for my baby.
