Buddy required to lose weight

    I am 37yrs old and weigh 65kgs. need to lose 8kgs.
    looking for a buddy ............

    Hi Emm,

    Would like to join with you in weight loss, am 29 yrs old with 66 Kg, my initial goal is to reduce 6 Kgs.

    started with my food like this...

    Morning - Carrot,Beet root juice with Honey 2 spoons and little lemon juice. After 30 min sprouts mixed with little lime juice and a pinch of Salt.
    Afternoon - (12:00 PM) 3 Chapati Boiled Veg(lots of Veggies with green leaves compulsory).
    Evening - (7:00 PM) 3 Chapati Boiled Veg.

    On Satday - Just have honey and lemon juice through out the day for every 2 hrs.
    On Sunday - whole day fruit juice.

    Weekly twice or thrice have Chicken and rice.(Difficult to control Rice as I am from south India)

    At present am not doing any exercise... have to join in some Gym center as our community doesn't have one.

    Hi Amihere,

    Yes, I take Honey+lime juice on Satdays and fruit juice on sundays... no other food.Honey and fruit juice gives strength for whole day.
    We can mix honey in fruit juice if we want.

    Yelle: having rice three times a week is good.
    but having only juice on weekends might put your body in starvation mode. Instead spread out and have a balanced nutrition.

    Having juice for a day even twice a month is alright as it might give body a chance to detoxify

    having only fruit juice will make you tired, i guess you feel less energetic on weekends?
    As pavithra told it will put your body in starvation mode, and the body reacts to it by storing up more fat to be used during starvation. But on monday you are back to eating normaly and the fat is not required,so the fat doesnt get used up. Eat healthy. eat nutrition rich and fibre rich food, divide your meals to 6-7 meals than 3 big ones.Fibre rich food will help you clean your digestive system, but dont have too much of fibre as it will prevents absorption of other nutrients.
