Buddy required for weight loss by April 2012

    Hi lovely people
    I have a big target to reach around 10kgs by april 2012 .... if anyone interested please log your diet and exercise everyday until april 2012 .
    My weekly diet is simple :-
    morning : Rice kanji with side dish
    Afternoon :- Bread and soup
    Dinner :- Fruit salad or veggie salad (one bowl)
    Snack :- apple and green tea (twice )
    Water :- 1.5 lt of warm water (600 ml warm water in one go before breakfast)
    30 mins variety of exercise

    Dear babyblessdust,

    10kg by April gives you plenty of time, just a few tips looking at your diet, since you only need to loose 10 kg, you are eating very little, i think you need to increase your protein intake as I see no protein in your diet so far, of you include more protein it would prevent muscle loss, and encourage fat loss. Also what type of exercises are you planning to do?

    thanks ruby :) will include protein in my diet i do 15 mins areboic dance n 15 mins abs crunch

    15 min aerobic dance is better than nothing but i think you should aim for 45 mins a day of aerobics, and 30 mins of weight/resistance training. Slowly build it up to this much time of exercise, this will really help with the weight loss and lose make you more defined.

    i lost 4kg earlier but due to my bad snacking habit i gaine 2.5 kg back [i was 72.5,lost 4kg n gained 2.5kg in 2 months]..

    Hi buddy,
    Actually,i planned to open same type of thread but saw your thread and i want to take part in this one instead of opening another one.My height-5.1",weight-64-63.5kgs,age-25yrs and my aim is to loss atleast 1kg per month.So from tomarrow on wards i will share you my diet and exercise with you.

    This week challenge ---- .... (only for a week )
    1. No snacks and sugar instead have nuts and fruits
    2. Add extra fruit with your daily intake as snack
    3. Drink 600ml of warm water (first thing in the morning ) with honey(1/2 tsp) +lemon (2 tsp)and ginger juice (1/2 tsp)
    4. No carbs at nights but include protein (boiled /grilled fish , chicken, chickpeas , egg white )
    5. count 20 in your head before going for another plate or another piece of bread or roti or cup of rice
    6. increase excercise from 30mins to 45 mins

    Excercise schedule :- strech your hands and legs before this for 2-3 mins .
    1. 15 mins - aerobic dance (put on any fast song and dance like crazy )mostly belly dancing
    2. 10 mins - skipping
    3. 15 mins - abs crunch )( 30 reps on each side ) -- lie down and cross the legs alternatively .. each side 30 counts.
    4. 50 counts - 100 counts ( stand straight with legs wide apart, then chain your hands together and bend side ways each 50 counts .

    My food diary for 20/12/2011 :-

    Morning :-
    1. 600 ml of warm water (honey +lemon and ginger)
    2. Breakfast :- Rice kanji with chicken grilled.
    3. Lunch :- Fruits salad and cup of tuna with herbs
    4. Dinner :- brown roti with chicken liver curry
    5. snack :- green tea (2 cup )
    6. Night drink :- green tea ( 1 cup)
