    Hi friends,
Lot of us have been in this phase of staying in plateau for weeks/months/years while trying to shed some weight. If you successfully crossed the plateau, pls share what worked for you. Everybody is unique and things work differently for different body types.
This window will be the place for witnessing success in breaking the weight loss plateau.
If any one currently undergoing plateau phase, pls share what you do something different to move from there. And no doubt, I am one among that category. Would like to share my formula soon.

I have moved from intense workouts to moderate workouts.
Slowly got rid from binge eating habits.
Practising stress management techniques to kill my plateau.

Past 7 months, lost around 20 pounds, but last 2 months , holding on to plateau.
Currently, introducing some workout regimen to see some changes.

Moving from very mild workouts to medium intensity ones. I am setting up the time frame to look for the plateau break.

    Started my mission yesterday.
March 8 - Re introduced some Jillian Michael's workouts to my routine, instead of my own workout regimen.
Along with some breathing exercises and or meditation.

By March end, I would like to share what worked for me. Wish me luck.

Well we keep attaining plateaus every now and then.

First thing is DO NOT workout every single day.Have rest days

Secondly, keep changing exercises and do not stick to the same exercises

    Do more of HIIT

Do more diet change and reduce little
More calories. You can do it the healthy way

    Go for personal training

By the way congrats on the 20 pound weight loss!!thats awesome..good going!!!

@sridevi1977 shiva wrote a post for her blog. Cant find it. But we discussed this in her. Success story thread. Pman and rmpriya too. In priya had a similar thread. Break Weight Loss Plateau

My suggestion. Calorie cycling in such way that you eat 1800 ome day and the next day 1400 and again 1800. You are confusing your body and this helps.

Same with exerxises. If you are on high intensity reduce the intensity for a couple of days and get back to high intensity.

    Stress adds its weight.so relax.
    And congrats buddy.

Good thread Sri @sridevi1977, I was in plateau very recently for about 2 months. I got confused what could be the reason as I was doing everything "right" and dont know which is not working...and finally decided to take big step and joined a gym where we are supposed to do HIIT training which includes 24 mins of cardio and 26 mins of strength training ( I was never a gym person in my life and this is the first time I stepped into a gym) and trust me, I focused more on enjoying the 60 min session rather than working out for moving the scale down. At the end of each session I used feel positive, energetic, felt like achiever with all sweaty clothes.

I finally saw my scale moving down. Inaddition to that I mix and matched the calorie intake and confused my body which helped me to see the positive results.

Along with loosing grams on the scale, the training session is also helping me to loose fat all over the body and giving me leaner look than before.
