I just caught the movie Break Ke Baad at a theatre near my house. I think the movie is quite in tune with the social realities of today. Live-in couples, commitment phobic males, young couples sitting on the steps of Metro stations etc are a feature of our metros. Break ke Baad is directed by Danish Islam and stars Deepika Padukone, Imran Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Shahana Goswami and Lilette Dubey. The movie deals with the break in a relationship which comes when Aaliya (Deepika Padukone) decides to go to Australia to study leaving Abhay (Imran Khan) to ruminate over the long distance relationship and the prospect of a break. If you enjoy the movies dished out for the young crowd by wannabe directors of Bollywood today, I think you will enjoy this movie too.
I have not seen the movie but I like both Imran and Deepika. As far as commitment phobic males go, this is exactly what happens in the western world. Why pay for the milk when you get the cow for free.
Break Ke Baad Break Ke Pehle nothing. Break Ke Baad bhi nothing. That is Break Ke Baad.:biglaugh:biglaugh:biglaugh
