    Hi Ramya...

It was good... Fascinating i would say... When we read the book and realize that small cells forming in to a real human being...

Its an amazing experience to read and feel :)

Though it might not be the same for each person... but definitely it is good to read such books... :)

    Hi congrats on your pregnancy.

I have not gone through any of the books but i read lot many articles in the website.

whattoexpect.com is one such wonderful website.

They suggest few books like "what to expect when you are expecting - pregnancy care related" and "what to expect in the first year - baby care in the initial year".

Do re-check go ahead. But one thing is sure. The author has lot many tips for the mommies and to-be mommies :thumbsup

    Hi

    Congrats! on your pregnancy.

I back Cindhuja on these books, i've been reading and rereading these books day in and day out... truly a bible for all pregnant ladies and first time parents. Authored by Murkoff, Heidi Eisenberg (not an indian author though).

Re: Pls suggest Pregnancy care book

    Non-Indian authors
    1) For pregnancy - what to expect
    2) For infant care - Dr.spocks.

Both have books on pregnancy nd infant care...Also infant care in the international context can just be a casual read as it is drastically different when it comes to Indian post-maternity concepts and wat we follow in our cultures.......i guess infact care will be smthg we will have to re-tune to our sensibilites :)

One of my friends suggested an Indian author earlier in my pregnancy but i cudnt get the book and now i have totally forgotten the name of the author as well :(
