dear lalith, some books are like bibles, so i suggest you rather get a hardcopy of that book, its very easily available at leading bookstores.I have one...
its quite a thick book, and so, ebook for it would be boring and no good..

    my 2 cents

    A magazine subscription worth investing!

the other day i was at nilgiris supermarket where i picked up a copy of Mother and Baby...although i found it a tad pricey(Rs 100) i gave it a try..they also have a website......
from what i understood, its a UK periodical now available in india customised for us ofcourse
but then i have found it quite useful...and i have already subscribed to it...
just wanted to let all you moms to be and already momies...
they have articles on almost everything, from the things essential during trimesters, recipes during your pregnancy(including smoothies etc), recipes for infants and toddlers... also enlisting shopping places and latest brands available on various items for us and our little one :)

    Re: Pregnancy Books

    Shwetha,

Congratulations on your pregnancy. It is not a necessity to read books about pregnancy. Your doc can always clarify any doubts you have. So if reading about something in the book freaks you out, do not read it. :) So relax and enjoy this phase. Take care.

    Regards,
    Anitha

    Re: Pregnancy Books

Look up Mayo clinic's site on pregnancy, I found their book useful, but there may be stuff that can upset you. I found it empowering it know what should be done if and when a situation were to arise, but all of us cant be as morbid as me ;-) The website affords you the freedom to pick and choose.

    Re: Pregnancy Books

    Hi Shwetha,

You may read the book "What to expect when you are expecting".

    Think +

Books are just to enhance your knowledge about pregnancy. They will have a mix of topics, choose what is needed to educate you during your pregnacy. Not all the topics mentioned will be applicable to you.

    All the best!

    Regards,
    Lynette
