Birthday Return Gifts for Elders

Dear ILites,

My son's 1st birthday is nearing and i'm looking for some ideas on return gifts.
The audience would be more elders , less kids.
Saplings will be ruled out as my mil / dl is now willing for it.
Give some other idea. My budget would be 70-90rs.

Kindly share some thoughts about German Silver Items. Came across about it. Need some more details.

Good jute bags handy for use. Or some kind of multi purpose box, piggy bank is good for kids

I am not sure about German silver articles..Do you mean like small boxes or kumkum storers? Those are a favourite among ladies for sure.
How about hand loom bags - traditional ones or scarves.
I received a tiny jewellery box from one of the Birth day parties last year. Very useful!!
The above ideas were also good.

There will be small decorative multipurpose boxes available in gift shops for around Rs. 50. They will be very useful. Do check them out.

Give tiny packets of tissues its very useful for moms who having small kids in travel time.. for elders give some containers box kumkum box etc..

One Nite travel bag which costs around 50. My Mom gave them for a recent Function and it was a Big Gift among the family...You can also try other ideas like Umbrella,CD Pouch, Photo Frame as these would be really Handy and you want always want more even if you had one.KumKum Box are totally Old Concept(You can give if its really a Traditional occassion)
