Better Half

Hello all,
I have been a silent member of IL for quiet a long time. I have been inspired to write a short story by reading all your stories. Please do check out and provide your valuable FB. This is a short story and I will post it in two parts.

Part 1:

The Wheels on the bus goes round and round. Round and round..

Ah... the lips which brushed each other while humming movie songs are now dancing to the tunes of rhymes.. To become a mother is indeed a bliss!!!

Meeraaaaaaaaa.....
Meera came back to her senses on hearing her hubby calling her.. "Coming Vinay" she shrieked back.. Little Prayag was playing near by. He smiled on seeing her.. She beamed!! Nothing in the world can match with that smile she thought. Priceless...
Meeraaaaaaaaa...
Coming coming. Why are you yelling Vinay??? .. "You decided to boil the milk, but it deceived you and spoiled your lovely cook top" he said and laughed.. Ohh.. Came to check on Prayag and totally forgot about it.. Let me clean the mess she said and stood up.. Np Meera I did the cleaning, you carry on with baby he said and left.. " Thanks hubby darling" Meera shouted back..

She played with her little Prince for sometime and put him to sleep. He was him sleeping peacefully. She was drawn back to her past..
Theirs was a love marriage. It was Meera who proposed Vinay.. They met through a common friend.. There was something in Vinay that kept attracting her. His smile.. His eyes made her weaker. He was so simple and down to earth and did nothing to impress her., but that impressed her!!! Is this the magic of love??? she thought.. Soon she proposed him and the fairy tale began.. It was four beautiful years of courtship until they finally decided to get married.

Meera wanted to have a baby soon after marriage and was excited on starting a new life with Vinay.. It was simple and quiet marriage which they both had wished for. They honey mooned in the mesmerising snow capped valleys of Kashmir..

Love binded the two souls into one...

Days passed by. It was a month since they got married, Each day was filled with love, laughter and fights...
Until the I'll fated day arrived!!!!!
