Le’Costa is available instant coffee in two different blends in all retail shops. 2. For filter coffee, for brands reasonably priced is Kothas 3. In some areas in required ratio seeds roasted and grounded available. God too pleased with coffee flavour vis a vis camphor.
Upon review, I find my answer is either too brief or incomplete. In a thread Filter Coffee there was lively discussion where brands of coffee powder discussed It is worthwhile for op to hv glance at this post which enlightens one with making of coffee using filter too. Regards.
Coorg and kothas are very good. I love coorg especially and filter coffee tastes amazing in that brand. We have it in the USA.for sure it should be available in chennai
The original post seems to be very old..Anyways I would like to say that we have been using LEO brand ever since we started walking and talking....I mean childhood...and it still remains the favorite. It is only and only filter coffee we have , freshly roasted and ground on demand, and have sunrise without chicory, instant powder for lazy days. Our mobility being restricted due to various reasons, we rely on our kin to procure so cannot think about cost though we would like consider that too.
Though I have given up drinking caffeine for good, I was a connoisseur of great filter coffee. Nothing beats Geetha coffee at Mylapore. Get their Peaberry A and Peaberry B 50-50 and add 20% chicory to it. Then drip decoction in a south indian filter with umbrella. Enjoy the aroma of coffee while doing so. Finally take a saucepan, boil whole milk and add decoction to it as strong as you want it. Pour into a tumbler that has sugar in it. Use a davara to dissolve the sugar and foam the coffee. Enjoy it piping hot!!
