Best apartment in chicago suburbs

Hi,

We are moving to chicago. Our office is in downtown.So we are planning to take apartment in suburbs.We want the commute time to be 30mins in suburbs.

Could you please let me know the decent apartment in suburbs.

welcome to Chicago.
I also work in downtown, commute from suburbs.
please check if your office is near Union Station or Oglive Station or Local L trains.
Based on the also you can save lot of time.
If near Union or Oglive, any suburb door to door it will take atleast 1 hour.
metrarail.com website is for Metra trains.
Many Indians in this location
BNSF Train - Route 59 Station, Railway aparments you can just walk to train station best in winter and summer.
BNSF Train - Naperville Station, many express train exact 30 min in train.
Palatine or Desplaines Location - Even here there are many indians and 1 hour door-door timings.
Near Devon - Indians and Pakistan and other religions - This also takes 1 hour (local train stops every 5min at stations)
If you decide on which side (Aurora/Rt59/Naperville OR Palatine/Desplaines) side you would like to live i am sure
other IL's in those areas will provide you feedback.
Best of all is Rt59 Railway Apartments (walkable to train station) :thumbsup

Desplaines apartments not sure SuryaPriya.
But few apartments are exactly opposite desplanies metra, they were decent. Not sure about details.

hi surya priya,

hearty welcome to chicago. we live in westmont and my husband commutes from here to downtown union station everyday. it takes 1 hr. the bus for the train station stops in front of our building.

the apt is little old but spacious. if u r really particular about the indian community i would say ours is the best. do let me know if u need any further details.

so which tainr route is available so that i might take appartment

near to that ,in suburbs

Since the workplace is in downtown and near Sears.
Why don't you try the apartments in downtown itself?

Presidential Towers is walking distance to Sears Shruti.

Same rent compared to apartments in suburbs but you save on commute.

our apt name is fountains at stone crest in westmont. i don't have any idea about the apt that u mentioned in des plaines . only if your husband has to reach the union station ours will be a good option. let me know if u need any further details.
