Bergen County - Travel and Apt Summary , Pls add

Hi,

I am moving to NJ shortly.My office will be in Weehawken.(by Harbor).
I am looking at safe places to stay with good school district and commute not more than 30 mts.I can drive as well but i would prefer to stay near public transport (bus or train).

I am looking at Bergen County alone for now.

Weehawken as such does not have any direct buses.Hoboken is the detour point.
I think there are plenty of buses from Hoboken to Weehawken or the light rail.
Is that correct ?

Regarding apts ,here is what i have understood from reading some old threads.

1) North Arlington - Riverview Gardens - Bus option only.School district good.Desi presence good.
2) Lyndhurst - Bus only.School District not good.
3) Nutley - Bus only.School District okie.Apts not many options.Desi presence good.
4) Secaucus - Bus and Path.Expensive.School district not so good.Am i correct ? Are there charter options ?
5) Hackensack - School district not good.
6) Fairlawn - Train.School District very good.Some apts are expensive.But there are cheaper options.I dont know abt desi presence.

I am really looking at some insight into actual travel times from North Arlington,Nutley etc as these places rely only on bus and how is traffic during peak hours ? People residing in some of the above mentioned places please write your experiences on travel time and school districts

I know that i might have left out - Clifton,Elmwood Park,Rutherford,New Milford,River Edge and few more.I really have no idea.People residing in these areas pls suggest.
