    Hi Sudha
    I learned Lace stitch & Gourd Stitch sometime back. I wanted give a try & Y'day got time to do.....
    I'm posting here instead of your Other reply thread since it gives an idea for viewers.

    I'm uploading pictures of lace stitch work:
    In the top row - 1st two works followed exactly the instruction.
    3rd one- increased another 4 more beads
    Bottom - Decresed bead count & tried.

    I tried Gourd stitch also & made 6 rows according to instructions. But it doesn't come out nicely. I think for this stitch the beads should be of same size & also bigger ones.

    wow!!!! great work sudha!! i didnt come across your bead work tech. sides. its really good article and i will def. try whenever i am getting time well now i am not having beads with me and i will collect it first and do the above techques as above and upload for ur view. thankyou very much for sharing such a beautful work.

    its very very nice beads works of yours!! thanks for sharing the idea's. and onemore suggestion above the top of the bead work u can stich the chmaki's means it will looks great and we can use it for several purposes like brides patti for plates and i am also trying to like that, 20yrs back my mom used to do it and i used to put that in my plates when i used to dance in any dance programmes(bharathanatyam in my childhood). but that piece is not with me now. def. will do and upload it. thanks once again for sharing dears!!!!
