    HI tom&jerry , Roopa

    Thank U for your FB.

An interesting thing I would like to share with you all. I visited Udaipur & Mount Abu during the third week of March. That time I happened to see some tribal people of that place. They belong to Garasia tribes. They both men & women are wearing silver ornaments!!.... I saw one lady wearing a necklace(mala) made of colorful beads. It is made using this brick stitch method....Later I visited Museum at Mount Abu where I found the display of ornaments of Garasia tribes. There I confirmed that the bead mala is made by BRICK STITCH method. This just an information for u ALL.
    Regards.

    Hey Chithra,

    Really beautiful.
I know it requires so much patience and you seem to have it all :). I have tried my hand in this too...but now have a little bigger beads, the one which I used in making the doggie, giraffe etc.

Thanx for sharing your work. I too will get those tiny ones to do it soon.

By the way, have you tried Peyote beading ?

    Bye

    Hi Saraswathi
    Thanks for your response.
I tried Lace Stitch(Thanks to Sudha who has given the method), Gourd stitch.
Lace stitch is ok & doing is easier. But Gourd stitch little cumbersome....& needs lots of patience!!....
Gourd stitch may come out well with bigger beads. Thats what I feel!!....
I've to try Peyote next time....
One more I've uploaded in my Album.
    See this link also.
