    Hi...krishnamma mam...


    i really wish i saw this thread before.
    i am a new mom to 3 month old.
    without mummy(she passed away) and no pathiya samayal..i suffred a lot as baby gt stomach issues.
    thank u fr so much of information.

    Any other thread like this on baby care like baths and traditional methods or medicines for babies during cold and other ailments would be great, from some one who is so experienced.

    first, Congrats ! How is your baby now ? I am happy that you are somehow benefited from my forum :)

    Actually I dont know about, ' is there any thread about baby care' , you can search and see in this site.

    Congrats :) I am yet to become a grand mom:) I am remembering my delivery time and writing this thread.

    ok, now what you want actually?

    daily cooking menu for the delivered girl?

    are you from Tamil Nadu?

    because for some cooking, which is our own method and taste will not suit for all. so please answer these questions , so that it will be easy for me to give you menus. ok vaa? :)

    Dear friend,

    Yes, it is for a daily menu. I am from Karnataka married to an Iyer. When I delivered the first time, it was a mixture of both. When my mother was with me she did it her way and when my MIL came she did it her way! But for the second one I had to manage on my own much of the time so I did whatever I could.

    I am happy to follow whatever you advice because neither my mum nor my mil are alive to guide me.

    No problem Usha, I can tell you/ guide you with my knowledge :) ok vaa? do you know Tamil? So that I can explain well :)

    When your daughter's delivery date? after delivery only you can prepare those podis. Before delivery we are not suppose to prepare them, is it a unwrittern rule :) so wait for delivery and before she comes home with the new born baby, you can easily make those podies. ok vaa?

    You can buy and keep all the provision items ready, before that to make 'paththiya samaiyal' ok? dont worry we are here to help you :) I am in Bangalore, where are you?
