    hi subha,

I was referring to cultural academy in santhome for the baking classes.iceing should also be taught or it should be a separate course by itself.am sure there are many other classes like winners academy in alwarpet and so on.

    Dear Meyammai,

Is not Winners run by Hot breads, exclusively?

Sorry ! Should have rephrased my question - Meant to say the know-how is taught by Hot breads. And regarding Winners, it is managed by the Chennai Culinary Institute in collaboration with Corporation of Chennai and Rotary Club of Madras - East. And yes, chandri bhat was also involved in the project! Thanks Jan!

    Hi,

Yes, She no longer conducts! Chitrama told me so!

Guess she is quite aged as well. Actually, I love her cookery sections on TV.She is one of the few no nonsense cooks who come! I am not sure if you are aware, but there is a show that has a chef cooking at vellore jail, on a hill top, inside the mines and on a tree top!He makes a andhra pachadi with paruppu, puli et all:)! Not to mention the domination of meat recipes, which I do watch, but certianly cant cook :).
