My dh is in research field. We are not able to decide whether to stay here or in India. What most people consider when choosing to stay in U.S. I guess economical reasons. How much do you think / or do most of Indians in U.S earn annualy to lead a comfortable life?
Money required for leading a comfortable life differs for individuals. Some of the factors include place you live, your family size, life style etc. To figure out how much you need, make a list of all the expenses like rent/mortgage, grocery, utility bills, medical insurance, emergency funds, travel expenses, amount you want to save and compare with your income. Sorry I don't have concrete answer for your question.
