Nagaraj and Rajaram were thick friends. Both of them were working as teachers in a high school. Nagaraj was very very soft spoken and he would not poke his nose in others' matters . Rajaram would always be joking at the expense of others. He would mock at others , and sometimes his sarcasm would cross the limit. Nagaraj would always bear with others and was very generous , especially with his friend Rajaram. --------------------------------------------------------------- Rajaram , in the course of time , got two promotions and became an Inspector of schools. Nagaraj remained as a teacher . He never opted for promotion. " Enough is enough " was his motto . He took free tuitions to the students. --------------------------------------------------------------- It was inspection time and Rajaram , as the Inspector , visited the school. It so happened one day , when Nagaraj was taking English , Rajaram entered the class . The two friends smiled at each other, shook hands , briefly exchanged enquiry about them and proceeded to the lessons. Rajaram called a student and asked him to punctuate : " the Inspector said the teacher is a fool ". The student punctuated it as : The inspector said , " The teacher is fool". Rajaram looked at Nagaraj and smiled at him sarcastically . In turn Nagaraj soberly smiled at him . Dilip was the most intelligent boy in the class. Nagaraj asked Dilip to come to the board and punctuate the same sentence. Dilip punctuated the sentence as: "The inspector ", said the teacher , " is a fool ". You must have watched Rajaram's face .
