Have you seen Rani Mukherjee's and Kajol's eye makeup?

Google their pictures if you haven't noticed yet !

They usually have a beautiful soft eyeliner on their eyes. So soft, innocent and beautiful...

To achieve this look, you need the following:

    1. Kajal / Gel eyeliner (I use maybelline, Any kajal will work)

    2. Brown eyeshadow (Must be matte for a natural look, no shimmer or glitters unless you are going for a dramatic look)

    3. A nude eyeshadow - a matte eyeshadow close to your ski tone (a good alternative for this would be your pressed foundation powder / compact powder)

    4. A smudge brush, a blending brush. If you don't have these, you can get away with a couple of cotton ear buds

    4. Your favorite mascara

    Method

    1. Apply kajal to your top and bottom water line.

    2. Apply kajal on the top eyelid. It doesn't have to be too neat.

    3. Smudge the kajal with the smudge brush on the upper lid and the lash line

    4. Apply brown eyeshadow on top of the smudged kajal on the upper lid

    5. Now use a blending brush or the cotton bud to blend the brown colour in to the black.

    6. Use the nude eyeshadow on the brow bone. Use a blending brush or a fresh cotton bud to blend the brown colour with the nude colour eyeshadow.

    7. Use your favourite mascara to do your lashes

I coloured this image on Photoshop to give you an idea how the shading must be....

(If you want to make it a little more dramatic brown smokey look, add matte black eyeshadow close to your top and bottom lash lines, and then blend with the brown shadow)

    Your are done ! :coffee

    Hi Neyha,

for a black smokey eye look, replace the brown eyeshadow in the above tutorial with MATTE black eyeshadow. You need to be careful about the blending. Make sure that the black eyeshadow gradually becomes lighter and lighter as you go from your lids to your brows.

Blend in the black shadow by using a little grey or brown eyeshadow.

Sometimes I like to use black and metallic grey for a party look.

    All the best !
