I think few schools have started giving application for pre-kg from vijayadasami.

harishree vidyalaya will be issuing application this week..monday-friday..

omr-sishya allows for registration for applications

st.augustine,ullagaram-icse school is giving application for lkg.

I do not know if I am posting stuff in the right place. But I have been watching this thread for a long time and I concur with most - you rock! Thanks first for all the replies.
Now to my biggest concern - I am a 1996 alumni from PSBB KKN and now iam waiting with fingers crossed for application forms there. My son will be 3 in feb 2011. Right now I am looking at only PSBB KKN and I am short of choices for other options.
Please help by suggesting other good CBSE schools in and around KKN.

Hi Uma.. I think applications will be given next week onwards.. did you enquire? good that you asked aboout other options because PSBB is always a 50-50 chance.. but being a alumini, you will most probably get it.. they give preference to the children Alumini's first, next is the siblings quota.. next comes the general public. and they send selection cards set by set.. and alumini's will be the first set of interviews.. so mostly you do not have to worry.. but JUST in case.. that 5% chance of not getting thru due to some confusion, technical mistake or whatever they call it.. if you did not get thru, keep another good school as a backup. in and around K.K. Nagar, I would say 'A School', PSBB Millenium (GST rd for KG and Porur for 1st std to 12th), Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Lalaji Mermorial Omega International School would be my list (in no particular order)..

Thanks for the quick one. I am into the researching part for other schools as well. I enquired today in school and they said appl forms next week too. I need more information on the school's current education system. Any inputs from you or in fact any parent having information on the education system and quality of psbb kkn as rated with other schools will be greatly appreciated.

Chettinad Vidyashram - Admission Forms

Hi,

I heard from a friend of mine that the admission forms for Chettinad Vidyashram are available now and that they should be submitted before the 15th Nov 2010.

I don't see any such info on their website. It simply states that the forms are available. It infact talks only about pre-KG, LKG and Montessori.

I am looking at admission for my kids @ 2nd and 6th Standard.

Appreciate if someone would be able to confirm whether the forms are available and if indeed 15th Nov 2010 is the last date for submission.

I called up the school for my son's admission for 4th std. They said they will issue the application form for other classes in the month of January 2011.

My SIL spoke to the school and as you mentioned the forms are likely to be available either in late december or early January.
