Anyone had Primolut-N for getting periods???need suggestions....

    hi all,
    i missed my periods last mnth...(Aug).....nd last saturday i consulted a gynecologist....she prescribed Primolut-N tablet for 5 days...( 2 tablets a day).....nd told that i will get my periods after taking this tablet......i took the medicines as prescribed...ystrday was the 5 th day nd the tablet got over.....but till today i didnt get my periods back........

    Has anyone took this tablet for getting periods????
    if ys wen did u get ur periods back??

    what should i do?
    need suggestions....

    dear Friend,

    As per my knowledge, Primoul N is give for postponing the periods. Did you consult the Doctor in person. I have taken this tablet to postpone my periods due to some function in our house. Please check it up with other friends also.

    Hey for me too they gave the same tab few mnths before when i went to doc for the same complaint but after i stopped taking it in 3 -4 days i got my periods & my mom also told it was for postponing the periods ...i dont know what.:confused2:

    As far as I know it is used to postpone ur periods. I have taken them to postpone my periods during festivals. Each tablet postpones ur periods by a day. This is what I have experienced. Check with ur doc again.

    These are all hormones tablets.same tablet is used to postpone also and to get the period also.For postponing i used primolet-n.We have one more tablet regestrone both are of same type.Actually in my marriage ,engagemnt then my sister-inlaw marraige i used tablets due to that my cycle got disturbed and next month it not came then doctor prescribed regestrone to get my period back.
    Usually after stopping the tablet you will get your period in 3-4 days.Some times 5 days also.So don't worry.But next time onward never ever use these hormones tablets.They disturbs our normal cycle.Take my example only..::thumbsup

    To my knowledge primolut N is for post poning periods..I don't understand why doctor suggested you this
