    Hi Mythili :
I am excited to meet an Ilite from Hounslow.. :))
I have registered with"The practice " in bath road. I was told there are 3 doctors and can meet anyone of them.
Which part of Hounslow do you live in? I live near Martindale road..
I have'nt done the cervical smear so far.. I have brought all the reports from India.
Also, are you aware of any community gym in the near by area.. similar to the library in treaty centre..

    Hey Sowmya,

I live in East London. Almost the other end of the city from you. And good that you have registered with the GP. Have you booked an appointment to meet him? Try and meet the doctor with your husband when you go to talk about the TTC and specialist care. That would be a good start.

All the best dear, am sure all will turn out well from now. :)
    Loads of Baby dust :)

Ladies I'll also suggest one important thing.
Usually when you are registered in a GP surgery, you are allowed to meet anyone who practises there.
I have a different theory though. Try and meet all the doctors and decide who you'd be most comfortable with and continue with the same person as much as possible.

You are allowed to request for a specific doctor when you book an appointment. If its an emergency, you'll be put to who ever is available on the same day. But even so, you can ask for your specific doc. But otherwise, it might take a week or two of advance booking, but its better that way.

One doctor would mean he knows you history well and would be able to go on with a proper series of referrals or treatments. Even here in UK, every doctor, though they follow the same set of rules, do have their own ways of going about with the treatment. When you are under one person throughout, you will set in with one pattern.

I even changed my GP practise cos I was not happy with the first one I registered with. So pick well, cos you have the choice.

This is avialable in this thread started by me for the fellow Ils . This will surely inspire and boost the morale of those in ttc. Hey Ramya..

Will sure do. But I am only half way now. We are yet to have the scan done and once I know all is well, I myself wanted to post about the treatment routine in London and how to make it work. Hoping I can get this cleared up in the next couple of weeks..will post soon after that. :)
