    Hi IL's,
    We will move to Calgary in Mid August so I have started searching for good neighbourhood areas in Calgary. Can anyone suggest me which one is good NW or SW? I have 2 school going kids (elementary and middle) so more concern for schooling with safe neighbourhood and some presence of Indians. I know Varsity,Bowness are old areas but it has good schools,shopping,university is also near to it.

    How is Dalhousie,Brentwood,Edgemont areas in NW and Somerset,cresent heights,briddlewood in SW?

    Any guidence in this matter is really appreciated.

    Hi Shubha,

    My husband and I will be moving to Calgary in May. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on areas where we could rent a 1 bedroom apartment. I did some research and it looks like SW, NW are safer areas. Would you agree with that? Any information would be helpful.

    Hi I am Jasmine and it is six months since my hubby came to Calgary and I came down on May 18th (our wedding anniversary).. I found Calgary really beautiful and so friendly. We live in Heritage, SW Calgary and the place is awesome....you can mail me if you need details about this apartment and I think there are still some apartments left to occupy. I would like to stay in touch with all you guys who live in Calgary and I was excited to see the topic "anyone from Calgary".....

    Hi,

    We are living in Evergreen in calgary.That's one of the good communities in SouthWest.In North West Edgemont is a good one with very good elementary and Juior high schools.

    Nice to get connected with people in calgary.
    Enjoy Summer in calgary.

    We r relocating to calgary from edmonton and basically from coimbatore. apartment suggestions (mostly in SW area bcoz DH going to work in downtown) sollunga please so that we can decide by this week......... Hope to see u all........
