Hi kanchi, Muscat is a beautiful country and safe countries in the gulf. there are lot of Indians there. I have come back from muscat..but my husband is still there... the weather is like all gulf countries.. social life..you have lot of indians, south indians there is lot of activities going on with indian club and other things... All the best to your brother...and tell your mom to be assured it is a beautiful and safe country...
