My DD got sick and in search for natural preventive measures for seasonal flu I stumbled upon Antiviral parantas!

    Whole wheat flour 1 cup
    turmeric 1 tsp
    black pepper 1/2 tsp
    garlic 1 fat clove
    Salt to taste
    oil for shallow frying

mince garlic and add in flour along with all ingredients except oil. Knead the dough and make paranthas. There are few herbs which has antiviral properties and garlic tops that chart. Turmeric also have antiviral properties and its absorption is increased with black pepper(no red chillies etc). I would personally increase garlic amount for people who can handle more. I hope you like it.

I couldnt put socks on as she was already too hot but i heated mustard oil(anti fungal/antibacterial) in small bowl and placed bowl in simmering tawa and put crushed garlic strained it and rubbed on her feet soles till it became hot. after going through barbara's lecture over castor oil. i added half tsp of castor oil as well. just for added healing. Then put castor oil on her neck area which have swollen because of tonsils. she wouldnt have let me put a poultice. so i just rubbed it gently. she was already getting her antibiotics but i am sure all these things must have added to healing. I should have been proactive:hide: and should have started these things Before it had hit but i am not going to repeat same mistake.
