Anovulation

Even i am 27...nearing 28 in another couple of months...Even my problem was anovulation...i had irreugular periods and also diagonosed with PCOS and thyroid...Becoz i was not ovulating naturally,my gyneac prescribed me clomid 100mg+metmorphin...and i conceived in my first cycle...also make a point...even my endometrium thickness was just 6.0 when started with this treatment...even then it went well...i am in my 10th week of pregnancy now...so please do not worry...god will answer your prayers very soon....

I am 29 and conceived with first cycle of clomid.dont worry..I understand the age factor with respect to the indian culture and narrow kindness of people ,but you shouldn't be worrying about it !
Anovulation comes under infertility treatment,there is no use seeing a ob /gyn ,you should find a reproductive endocrinolist who specializes in I fertility treament in US( ob / gyn don't have authority to prescribe ovulation trigger medicines ) ,most insurance will cover infertility treaments. So don worry about it.
Tips:
1. Check your BMI ,if you are overweight ,starting losing weight with diet and exercise .
2. as far as possible avoid eating chicken and meats which have been injected with growth hormones.
3. Take clomid and use a lubricant like pre seed because clomid dries up the cervical mucus and makes it difficult for sperm to travel down.
4. Pray well,eat healthy and don't stress !

 

hey, you're making me feel really old! ...am 3 months along and hitting 31...so don't stress yourself out about your age. 27 is a healthy age to start trying for a baby. So take that out of your mind.

As far as anovulation is concerned, I believe it can happen even to someone who has a regular monthly cycle. Sometimes one month may be anovulatory while in the next you may ovulate normally. I don't think you should get too worked up about it...consult a fertility specialist...it usually takes more than one follicular study to figure out what's happening inside. Since you have conceived naturally once, I think you should stay positive and trust everything will work out fine! good luck.

 

yeah i too agree with cj1980.... Anovulation can happen even to someone who has a regular monthly cycle. even i have present cycle anovulatory. Hope i can ovulate in next cycle... Waiting for the next cycle to begin

i went through all ur post (frm Sep,11). i too had a miscarriage in mid Sep,11. We took a break of 4 months and now i m in 5th week of pregnancy.i can understand ur pain ..in fact,i hav also deep rooted fear for wht had happened to me last time...i would like to suggest u few things...

first of all, dont think abt ur age...i m 28.even u can conceive till 35...best thing is that u hav already conceived one time naturally
Secondly, my first pregancy was natural but as i hav pcod, so i had ovulated after 18-20 days of periods...So, this time doctor had prescribed me ubiphene (as letroz has been banned) so that i ovulate on time..then i was prescribed duphaston (to correct progesterone level) and i conceived within a month of ttc...Dont stress urself...these medicines are not very costly, but go as per ur doctor's advice....will pray for u...u will surely conceive very soon..i know

Last cycle I had a failed IVF and this month went for a follicular scan and found out I didn’t ovulate. It’s very frustrating to know that im not ovulating. I tried clomid, IUI, IVF nothing is working for me. This PCOS is killing me. I lost all my hopes and don’t know what to do.
Is there any natural way to ovulate? My weight is 50kgs, height is 5.7 feet.
Please advice.

 

Anovulation??? me me me!!!
I am almost 31. Conceived 2 years back in India but had a missed abortion. Now discovered most of my cycles (if at all I had them) were all anovulatory. Inducing ovulation has become such a common first step in TTC help these days and its nothing to worry about. Take good care of your health and relax for now.

pcod has become very common now a days (even i hav pcod and very irregular periods, used to ovulate in 20-22 days).Dont stress urself...ubiphene worked on me for timely ovulation, i hav heard (though not tried) that kapalbhati exercise by baba ramdev is very very helpful in curing these problems...Baby dust to u..

 

Hi all

My age is going to be 34 in two or three months. after failed IVF i stopped all medications and treatment. I don't know if i am ovulating or not. without using ovulation kit, is there any way to find ovulation?
