Anniyan - Yeppo Release?

Hey Ladies,

So finally Anniyan out in the theatres. Have anybody watched it already?

I wanted to watch it during the weekend, but all shows are pre-booked here for more than a week

Looks like will be a big hit from what I heard from few friends.

I watched Anniyan on Sunday. I liked it. Vikram has done a very good job.
He looks really cool. Vivek's comedy was also very good.

From your comments, I don't think you would compare it with Boys!
I also heard this is about right do the society...so would you compare it with Mudhalvan or Indian?

 

Subset of Indian movie

Hey Rathi,

I saw this movie last Friday. I feel it is more of a subset of Shankar's Indian movie. An individual taking the laws in his hand to punish people doing wrong in the society. Indian thaatha attacked people taking bribes, while Anniyan is trying to attack multiple problems in the society!!

I won't say the movie had a new concept, but it did not fail to fulfill the expectations of fans coming to Shankar's movie - as usual graphics and richness are fun.

This is definetly better than Boys! It is mostly on the same theme as
Mudhalvan, Indian & Gentleman, one guy trying to correct the society.
Song picturizations were as usual good. Did u get to see the movie?

 

Should have conveyed message more seriously

Yes, I saw the movie last weekend in the local theatre. It was nice and as you said a mix of Shankar's earlier movies. I liked 'andan kakka' song, very colourful!

But I thought the message should have got conveyed more seriously...some serious scenes turned out to be funny and people in the theatre were laughing!

I saw the movie only last weekend. I would say it was good. I agree it would have been more better if Shankar had made the movie more serious to convey the message clearly.

However, I liked Anniyan's message in the meet with the public.
It was about India staying in the 49th place in growth behind several countries in the world, inspite of 57yrs of Independence, close to 1 crore population. Whereas the 3rd place in crime and offense! That was pictured very well showing a small reel about various countries.

I saw anniyan movie in the internet. On seeing the first half, I thought

it is a regular Shankar movie. But the second half is very thrilling.

MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) is rarely taken in Tamil movies.

Shankar handled it very well. People may get confused how is it possible.

 

Hi ladies,
Anniyan is successfully released and is running to packed houses. It was released in Tamil and Telugu as well.
Movie is just fabulous and Vikram's acting is just incredibile. Songs are picturised very asthetically. Movie is sure a crowd puller with its strong storyline.
