American museum of art Vs Metropolitan museum

Thanks for ur previous replies.

In our new york trip itinerary, we have 2-3 hours left out. Confused which museum to visit in New york between the American museum of art and Metropolitan museum of art.

Also, based on ur experiences can u suggest must try restaurants / bakery in New york near Rockefeller center, Grand central terminal and times square. Any cuisine is fine.

Also, suggest restaurants in statue of liberty area as well?
