PSBB KK Nagar - Wat's the selection procedure ?

Hi Friends ,
I've got application form from PSBB - KK Nagar :thumbsupto admit my kid in pre-k.g for 2010 - 2011. My kid will be 3.4 years in june 2010. My house is 4.5 kms from the school campus. So, according to their principle there is no problem for me with age criteria and distance criteria. I've some queries ...plz do clarify if anyone have idea on that.

1 ) What do they expect from a Pre-K.G kid ie ) rhymes / alphabets /numerals ? My son is good enough in all these , but i'm afraid what happens if he doesn't do well in the new environment ?
2 ) Do they expect any recommendation ? They'll receive about 2000 applications for the PRE-KG which can hold only 180 students. How do they sort out ?
3 ) Whether Brahmins will be given higher priority ? :bonk
4 ) Any minimum income range they expect from the parents ?

How are your kids doing at PSBB. Do you know the number of new admissions in UKG in the section where your kids study.

Hi,
Has anyone submitted the pre-kg appln form in PSBB, KK Nagar? How much time it takes for submitting? What do they ask? anything specific questions? Are there big queue? Accordingly I need to plan for either office permission / leave.

I submitted pre.k.g application in PSBB today. It was crowded today. It will not take much time tomorrow I guess :thumbsup

Thanks Sasi for the information. Is stamp required for the self addressed envelope? If so, how much?

we submitted yesterday. There was crowd. Stamp depends on how far the postal address is.. We live in K.K. Nagar still to be on the safer side, we put a 2 Rupee stamp.. just in case.
