    Hi,

    U can visit www.yoganiketan.com .

There is a book " Babaji and 18 sidha kriya yoga tradition free download.

Babaji was born in 203 AD in Parangipetai, river cauvery flows to indian ocean. His name given by his parents was Nagaraj. (king of serpents, also honors primordial force kunadalini shakthi) born in rohini nakshtara and wadhala gothra( coinciding with lord krishna), his family were descendents of Nambudri bhramins. He had to leave his parents in an earlier age of 5 as he was kidnapped by someone and sold to a person in west bengal. So we should say that his path towards kriya started early age. Then he met many saints and sidhargal and went in the path of kriya and self realization.

    from wat heard and read...

    bye.
    Suha

As others said, do read "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Yogananda where Babaji is described at length.

There are many people trying to claim linkage with Babaji, but if one goes by the description in Yogananda's book, such claims seem unlikely.

"An Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramhamsa Yogananda is a book worth reading.
In one particular Chapter, the way Babaji comes to his disciples is very well described and a pencil sketch of Babaji is given in the book.
