    Moon 19 Mar 2016 2 30 am - IL.jpg ​

    Taken at 2.30 a.m., thanks to inability to sleep. It is so dreadfully warm, it is near impossible to sleep. I got up to move to a cooler room and noticed this outside my window. Scramble for the camera ..... click ..... message on camera says 'no SD card', so go get the card and insert it and then click ... click ... click ...! Not bad to be an insomniac occasionally!

    thats awesome....time makes you photographer too...:)
    and regarding sleepless nights ya its really very warm and hot to get a good sleep....even coolers not functioning properly due to water scarcity....god know kya hoga...

    Very true rudrakshi. Everything has an upside.

    Twinklingstar, I do not put on my A/C, since the hot exhaust comes out on my balcony and I am afraid the earthworms in my vermicompost would die. So my life is becoming more complicated in my efforts to be eco-friendly. Maybe 'eco-friendly' implies going the whole hog. Not using the A/C is also eco-friendly! :-D

    From one insomniac to another...

    It is close to 12.30 here and I had to get up to go get my headphones and plug in to listen to aadha hai chandrama while enjoying this post and the picture. :)

    Lovely photo and brainwave.

    Re the heat and no A/C I have been using a damp/ actually quite wet bed sheet to cover myself. Under the fan you will feel like in AC. You can actually adjust colder or warmer water for different exp. In places like UP where is a perpetual problem of power and only fans run on invertors, a bucket stands next to my my bed all the time.

    I have been using this for 50 years and no side effects yet. Cheap A/C.
