Our Friendship

I have a friend ,
One that has been with me since i was born .
And because of the matter i almost mourn
We 're getting seperated .

You don't know how this feels ,
You're not me , I'm not you ,
I really am sad too ,
But i respect that she has to go ,
And i wish her the best .

She left : June 16th , 2008
I wrote : June 15th , 2008 .
( In America - California )

Dear Indhu,
Thats so sweet.Very touching poem.This peom triggered an incident.During my school days ,my best friend went to tanzania for summer holidays.We both exchanged long hand-written letters full of such emotions.Convey my regards to Raksha.

I am not surprised that writing poems runs in your family you being a real good one.
She has written so sweetly and so very cute. Those days and times are so different and things like that make a big difference.
Tell her she's on her way to become a great poet with so much talent in her.

As Devika Aunty says, these days distances are nothing, you can still keep in touch with your best friend, and do make other friends too..

Excellent poem. I feel like hugging your sweet niece. Convey my best

As Devika has said now a days we can keepin touch through net and
mobile phones. In our days it was not possible and had to wait till
the postman brings the letters.
